Dark Souls II has finally been released in North America and hits the UK this coming Friday. To celebrate the fantastic reviews the game is currently receiving, 92 on Metacritic for the Xbox 360 version and 90 for the PS3 version, Bandai Namco UK have released the Curse of the Dark Launch trailer.
I have got to throw this out there, the trailers that have been released thus far for Dark Souls II have been some of the best I have ever seen, and makes me wish they could turn the series into a live action epic like Game of Thrones haha! (wishful thinking on my part)
I’m still undecided how I am going to tackle writing about the game. I don’t think a run of the mill review would do the game justice, due to the difficulty I don’t know how long it will actually take for me to finish it, so I’m thinking several different pieces I may put together to chart my journey through Drangleic.
I understand this is the option my good friend Dave Cooks over at VG24 is going for, but as I say, I’m still undecided, but rest assured I will keep my Youtube channel updated with lots of Dark Souls II coverage.
In the meantime, watch the trailer, then watch it again, then maybe just once more, and prepare to “Go Beyond Death”
Dark Souls II is currently available in North America for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the UK release will happen this coming friday , 14/3/14. The PC release of the game will come to all territories on April
