google has lifted the warnings. There was something on the server for the site. it was a page that was inserted on the server that didnt look like any other regular page and was not linked from this site itself so if you visited here intending to see this site as we all do you would not have encountered it at all so no need to worry.

Sweet. Next thing is adding a photos to make existing thread looks nicer.Like for example the older threads like The Comic Book Thread. I hate seeing the grey. I tried to see if I can add some photo but it didnt work for me.

That’s only because the thread was originally made as a text thread. If you click edit on the original post at the top and upload a photo you will see an option to “set as featured image” when you do that let me know and I can change the post type.

I didnt see the option to set as featured image. But I was able to add the photo but it only gave me the options on the alignment in the post for that photo.

There is an upload feature for general posts lol … um so im guessing you mean a image upload feature for comments?
[edit] ok so there is a mod available to allow for this but there is a compatibility error. As soon as they fix it or update the code I will add it.

ReplyThe saga continues… here are some things I wanted to share and also potential run by you guys to gauge interest before I add them.
Because lists are fun…
1. The stream section seems to be a big hit. Its just a short while its become like the most viewed section on the whole site. yay! lol
2. Still adding little improvements here and there across the site. cleaned up the categories when new stuff is posted to make it quicker etc.
3. Still taking suggestions.
4. Will start to promote/market the site soon so there should/may be a influx of new users. I never have really done that in the past but I think with the recent site improvements its about ready.Potential new stuff:
1. Points/achievements. Thinking about finally adding a system that gives points when comments are made and when posts are made. Posts give more points than comments etc. badges for point levels etc. Users would be able to make bets with points against each other. So we can bet on multiplayer game matches or sports events or anything. I know this was a suggestion in the past. Let me know what you think. I can add it if there is interest.2. WIKI Pages There seems to be a potential need tie a lot of the content and posts together now. For example. If someone streams Dark souls there is a play-through of that on the stream page, then there are regular posts on it too but its all separated. Wiki pages would be a combo of user and auto added/listed content from across the site.
The idea is to have a wiki page that any member can create/collab/edit that would be a central hub for a game, or series, or platform, or anything.
So for example Dark Souls or bayonetta
could have a wiki page that would have a description, box art and screenshots links to relevant youtube vids and other links which would be added by us but would auto populate with the posts (videos,trailers,news discussions) tagged dark souls and auto populate with any twitch streams video about the game since all twitch highlights are tagged by game anyway. So a wiki page on street fighter would have info/boxart, news/trailer postings from the site, and also have all our streamed matches. Or a nas page with some info and my favorite videos lol. This section could be kind of cool since we seem to like different games and other stuff. Just wanted to see if there was any interest since this would require folks to contribute. lol. Let me know what you think on these.

yeah thats what I keep doing. And it comes out blank. Unless I am screwing it up somewhere.
Okay so I click share. Select widget code – the one that has iframe.
I select HTML tab and then paste that code in there. Then I try to post it and it comes out blank. I keep trying obviously I am doing something wrong but cant figure it out.-

You were doing it right but it was only working for admins…
I fixed it now you can just use the LINK right above where you get the widget code:

right now im working on scheduling the move of the site to a new and better server. didnt make sense to update the site before its moved. The new setup will have more resources so everything should be faster. ill update when I have dates and times.

you shouldnt be using the “admin” section to post stuff. lol use the “submit drop” form like the rest of us.

hmmm… thats odd. everything is loading quick for me. Anyone else having issues? Ill look into it though.

the site loads quick as does posting in the forums, it’s just that trying to submit a drop either through the main page or the admin when I want to add multiple images takes a lot longer, for me at least, than it used to do.

Eh whenever I edit a reply it gets messed up.
If I have a video/pic and I go in and edit something in that post. The pic or video never gets posted afterwards. Also it just becomes one paragraph

Ok yeah editing replys gives you html content currently and not the same bbcode enabled auto editor like it does when you post a comment. I’ll fix that next. Thanks for reminding me!
